TankTorq TK5 Dual Motor

The TK5 electric scooter features an advanced electronic brake system (EBS) with three levels (1, 2, and 3), allowing up to 60% kinetic energy recovery at level 3. It also includes a double hydraulic disc brake for improved braking force, heat dissipation, stability, and safety, used primarily for emergencies or final stops.

The waterproof level of the battery, motor, controller, display screen, front, and rear lights of the scooter reaches IPX7, which means that these parts can withstand brief immersions in water, with a maximum depth of 1 meter and a duration of 30 minutes, without water ingress or damage.

The TK5 offers two charger options: a 4A charger with a 6-7 hour charging time, and an 8A fast charger that reduces charging time to 2 hours and 40 minutes. A running light indicator shows charging progress, turning blue when the battery reaches 95% and off at 100%. If the BMS detects an issue, the light turns red. To use the EBS immediately, avoid charging past 95%, as it won't activate until after 1-2 km of riding.

For optimal comfort, the scooter is equipped with tubeless puncture-proof winter/summer tires. TK5 is standardly equipped with summer tires with a lighter tread and a harder rubber tread, which helps provide good handling on dry and wet roads. The winter tires have deeper patterns and more complex designs, which help provide better traction and grip on snow and ice. You get all the benefits of pneumatic tires with a lower level of puncture risk and almost zero maintenance.

The TK5 features an intelligent BMS with software and hardware protection, certified by US and CE standards. It offers five levels of protection, monitors battery SOC and SOH, and provides real-time data on battery status. The battery includes overload and over-current protection, an automatic lock connector, and waterproof connectors for easy replacement. In low battery mode, the scooter limits speed to 12 km/h, allowing for 3-5 km of additional range, with a total mileage of 83-85 km.
