Dual Braking: EBS + Double Hydraulic Disc Brake
The TK5 electric scooter features an advanced electronic brake system (EBS) with three levels (1, 2, and 3), allowing up to 60% kinetic energy recovery at level 3. It also includes a double hydraulic disc brake for improved braking force, heat dissipation, stability, and safety, used primarily for emergencies or final stops.
IP waterproof level
The waterproof level of the battery, motor, controller, display screen, front, and rear lights of the scooter reaches IPX7, which means that these parts can withstand brief immersions in water, with a maximum depth of 1 meter and a duration of 30 minutes, without water ingress or damage.
Clever charging options
The TK5 offers two charger options: a 4A charger with a 6-7 hour charging time, and an 8A fast charger that reduces charging time to 2 hours and 40 minutes. A running light indicator shows charging progress, turning blue when the battery reaches 95% and off at 100%. If the BMS detects an issue, the light turns red. To use the EBS immediately, avoid charging past 95%, as it won't activate until after 1-2 km of riding.
Tubeless puncture proof tires
For optimal comfort, the scooter is equipped with tubeless puncture-proof winter/summer tires. TK5 is standardly equipped with summer tires with a lighter tread and a harder rubber tread, which helps provide good handling on dry and wet roads. The winter tires have deeper patterns and more complex designs, which help provide better traction and grip on snow and ice. You get all the benefits of pneumatic tires with a lower level of puncture risk and almost zero maintenance.
The battery
The TK5 features an intelligent BMS with software and hardware protection, certified by US and CE standards. It offers five levels of protection, monitors battery SOC and SOH, and provides real-time data on battery status. The battery includes overload and over-current protection, an automatic lock connector, and waterproof connectors for easy replacement. In low battery mode, the scooter limits speed to 12 km/h, allowing for 3-5 km of additional range, with a total mileage of 83-85 km.
Intuitive Cockpit Design
The TK5 comes with a stellar 14W ultra-bright LED display, clearly visible even under direct sunlight. All ride data — range, trip, odometer — is easy to read. Turn signals, horn, and brakes are positioned for quick, thumb-level access, ensuring a smooth and safe ride.
Smart Control and Security
For extra safety, the TK5 supports optional rear-view mirrors, and offers key access via remote control and mobile app. Riders can easily start, stop, and update the scooter's software through the app, ensuring a personalized and secure riding experience.
Advanced Headlights and Rear Lights
The TK5's lighting system includes a height-adjustable 10W front laser light with auto-sensing brightness, a three-color LED rear light, and a smart brake light. Light transitions are smooth to protect the LEDs, following standards seen in high-end electric vehicles.

What is the power consumption of an E-TWOW Scooter?
The E-TWOW Scooter has a power consumption of only 6.15W/km (with the LED lights turned ON).
What is the maximum speed of an E-TWOW scooter?
The E-TWOW reaches speeds of up to 36km/h! Many countries have a legislation that imposes a speed limitation. The E-TWOW scooter features a great particularity – the speed can be limited according to the legislation of every country, so once a maximum speed is set, the scooter won’t exceed that speed. The preset speed limitations are 6 km/h, 12 km/h, 20 km/h and 25 km/h. This function can be activated or deactivated from the central control unit, according to the user’s needs.
What is the autonomy of E-TWOW Scooters?
The autonomy is between 30 and 45 km/h and it was calculated at a constant speed of 20km/h, with a load of under 75kg and with a wind speed of under 10km/h. The E-TWOW is the first scooter to use the KERS technology (KINETIC ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM) through the magnetic braking system, so the autonomy can be increased up to 60 %. This system is used in Formula 1 cars and it’s the first time such a technology was integrated in an electric kick scooter.
Charging time?
1.5h-2h (4A charger) or 3h-3.5h (2A charger). When you get the E-TWOW electric scooter for the first time, we recommend to charge the battery fully before using it, and charge it once every three months if you stopped using the scooter.
What about the brakes?
The E-TWOW Scooter is equipped with a lighting system made up of 6 powerful white LED lights and a sensor that will automatically start the headlight when the ambient light is insufficient.
